It needs you to remove the pen from your pocket, look at the function lights on the back, push the button to turn the unit on, wait for a blue light, then push the button (the correct length of time) a second time to record. Difficult to operate with it out of your pocket, seeing the lights and instructions. It will NEVER work in your pocket with "just touch the button" simplicity as in the video.
